In the course of the international symposium on established successes and future challenges in paediatric oncology, May 15-17, 2008, Vienna, successful EC-funded projects in the field of childhood cancer research were presented.
The Children's Cancer Research Institute (CCRI) plays an important role as project partner or coordinator in the majority of the EC-funded projects which are presented here.
